The Story

And then came into being a curious race of Fae; The Pooka Sprites. "Why," the youngster asked "Are they called Pooka Sprites?"
"Because," said The Wise one, "They are one of so many species,crossed into being by all the world of Fae.  Some resemble dragons,some resemble birds, some are so non-descript that is theircharm." The youngster marveled in curiosity.
